What a trip of a lifetime! Ladakh is a super landscape, from stunning snow-capped mountains, rockscapes, lush valleys, atmospheric monasteries and with peacefulness of Buddhism that permeates the landscape. All trips of a lifetime are the sum of many parts. We were lucky enough to visit both Chamba camp Thiksey and Diskit, and at both camps we just loved the luxury adventure experience - the tents are beautifully appointed and supremely comfortable, and the food at both the camps was lovely (and Nathan particularly loved the Indian preparations). However, what brought our journey alive was the wonderful staff at both the camps. A very big thanks to Dhamoo, our wonderful guide who brought Ladakh and all that is special about her, alive for us. Like traveling with a friend, Dhamoo shared so much of Ladakh with us and we experienced so many special things with him. A huge thanks also to Rigzin, our wonderful driver, who took us all over Ladakh, and to Newton, our valet who looked after us so well.
